Team Building Activity: Virtual Edition Series, 3 of 3

As we transition to conducting business and connecting with each other more online, GUIDE is presenting a series of team building activities that can be done virtually. Stay ahead of the game with these fantastic activities sure to engage any group of youth or adults!

If you missed them, be sure to check out our previous posts, Team Building Activity: Virtual Edition Series, 1 of 3 and Team Building Activity: Virtual Edition Series, 2 of 3!

In this third round in our series, we share with you TWO unique ways for your group to introduce themselves!

Random Object Introductions

Time Needed: 5-10 minutes

Group Size: Any

Materials: Photo of random objects (toys, office supplies, tools, food, etc.) OR you can ask participants to grab an object  nearby

Directions: Show participants the photo of the random objects. Using a preferred tool (such as the annotation feature in Zoom or Poll Everywhere), have participants indicate which random object they are most like and then share, via the chat box or verbally, which option they chose and why.

Adjective Introductions

Time Needed: 5-10 minutes

Group Size: Any

Materials: Photo or slide of several adjectives; Caboodle Cards are GREAT for this activity if desired

Directions: This activity is best done in small groups. Each person should pick one adjective from the options provided to use in introducing themselves to the group. Ask participants to share their name, organization/job and the adjective they picked that describes them.

As a note for the future, both of these activities can be done in person! Looking for even more icebreakers and team building activities? Check out our full list of activities here.
