Program Coordinator
Cydney Hill serves as the Prevention Program Coordinator. She joined GUIDE in November of 2023. In this role, Cydney focuses on environmental strategies related to GUIDE’s Drug Free Communities (DFC) grant and the Prevention Action Collaborative of Gwinnett (PAC-G), as well as community involvement and relationship building.
Before joining GUIDE, Cydney established herself in the field of breast cancer education, awareness and patient advocacy. As the Resource and Support Services Manager at the Tigerlily Foundation, she played a pivotal role in digital outreach to breast cancer patients, cultivating partnerships with resource organizations, collaborating on strategic action plans and creating communication-focused content.
Cydney’s commitment to breast cancer advocacy extends beyond her professional career, as she has been an ambassador for the Tigerlily Foundation since her teenage years. Notably, in 2015, while still a high school senior, Cydney lobbied Congress as a caregiver and breast cancer advocate. Her dedication is further demonstrated through educational and wellness workshops she has hosted, aiming to enlighten young women on the significance of breast-self exams and the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle.
Educationally, Cydney holds a Masters of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance & Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University. Cydney is also the recipient of the prestigious Gates Millennium Scholarship, generously provided by Bill and Melinda Gates.
