2025-2026 YFAB Application

Youth & Family Advisory Board (YFAB) Application

We are pleased to announce that applications are available to join GUIDE’s Youth & Family Advisory Board (YFAB) for the 2025-2026 year! Please review the following information for more details.

GUIDE’s Youth & Family Advisory Board (YFAB), is composed of individuals from all over the state of Georgia. The members are categorized into three different subgroups: youth (ages 15-17), young adults (ages 18-23), and parents/guardians of those in these age ranges.

The YFAB comes together to enhance leadership skills through mentoring and committees. Throughout the year, the YFAB has the opportunity to participate in numerous virtual and in-person trainings, leadership events, workshops and feedback opportunities. The YFAB is equipped with diverse youth perspectives and recommendations to enhance youth-serving programs and campaigns across the state.

If you have any questions about the YFAB or application process, please contact Maria Flores at maria@guideinc.org.

Compensation

To ensure equity among membership and so that YFAB members can treat this engagement with the seriousness and commitment of a part-time job, YFAB members will earn stipends for participation in all meetings, events and sessions and have travel covered when participating in YFAB related events. Compensation will vary depending on the type of event ranging from $25-$300 per event.
