Inpatient

The Hartmann Center is a structured residential program that provides comprehensive gender-specific substance use treatment for female adolescents, ages 13 – 17. The program addresses substance use, underlying emotional/traumatic issues, including sexual trauma, and other needs/deficits within the whole person. Located in Cobb County, the Hartmann Center is Georgia’s only publicly-funded treatment program for adolescent females and is open to girls throughout the state of Georgia.

Eagle Overlook Recovery for Adolescents is the top-rated choice in the Georgia area for drug addiction and mental health treatments for teens. They treat both male and female individuals who are aged 13 to 18. There certified and licensed staff provides caring and compassionate care for all of their patients. They offer psychiatric and medical care, individual and group counseling, peer support, psychoeducation, and a range of outdoor activities to get their patients on the road to recovery.

Greenleaf has an acute inpatient program specifically designed to meet the needs of adolescents & teens between the ages of 12 and 17 who are struggling with a variety of mental health disorders

Located on a beautiful, 1,200-acre wooded space outside of Atlanta, the Youth Villages Inner Harbour Campus is home to residential treatment programs for children and youth with serious emotional and behavioral challenges. Boys and girls living at Inner Harbour are organized by gender, age, and diagnosis and functioning level. The 10-12 members of each group live in the same cottage and spend all day together attending class, eating meals together and participating in activities as a group. Inner Harbor treats boys and girls ages 6 to 17. They accept all forms of Georgia Medicaid. The Only private insurance accepted is Tri Care (Military).

– Laurelwood does NOT provide any additional services after this brief stabilization and will refer a patient to the next level of care after stabilization.
Payment: Most insurances accepted, no CIGNA or United Healthcare (including multiple Medicaid plans) and charity cases.

If in need of admission, call (678) 209-2727 Monday-Friday between 8:30 am – 5:00 pm for brief screening and next steps to proceed. If in immediate crisis and after hours or on weekends, proceed to nearest ER and admission may be facilitated from ER (if bed is available at the unit).
