We are pleased to announce that applications are available to join the GUIDE Youth Advisory Board (YAB) for the 2026-2027 school year! Please view the timeline of dates below so you don’t miss anything important.
The GUIDE Youth Advisory Board is a group of high school students from across Gwinnett County who come together to learn leadership skills, provide input to various aspects of GUIDE programming and conduct substance abuse prevention projects. Important Dates
Applications Due: Friday, April 10, 2026
Adult References Due: Friday, April 17, 2026
Interviews: Group virtual interviews will take place between Wednesday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Exact dates and times will be determined on an individual basis with each applicant.
Mandatory YAB Induction & Graduation Ceremony: Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 5 – 7 pm (Location and details will be sent upon acceptance.)
Georgia Teen Institute: June 8-12, 2026 (Attendance is not required but greatly encouraged.)
