Smart Approaches to Marijuana (SAM) – Project SAM is an alliance of organizations and individuals dedicated to a health-first approach to marijuana policy. Their website provides a breakdown of up-to-date information involving marijuana, such as legalization, public health and cannabis-based medications; fact sheets and talking points; and opportunities to get involved in their efforts.
The Marijuana Report – The Marijuana Report is National Families in Action’s newest website, created in conjunction with Project SAM, Treatment Research Institute and others. The report is a news aggregator website that links browsers to daily news coverage of the marijuana issue. Also provided are fact sheets, infographics and toolkits that detail information on the dangers of marijuana.
The American Academy of Pediatrics – This website provides information to parents on the effects of marijuana use on teens’ health and well-being. It includes information about the drug, signs of use and steps parents can take in prevention.
National Institute on Drug Abuse – This website provides up-to-date facts on marijuana, including how it is used, how it affects the brain and other health effects on the brain.
